Masterworks III - Home for the Holidays
The evening will feature Music Director Timothy Muffitt leading the BRSO with guest artists Mara Bonde, soprano and Dennis Jesse, baritone. Chorus Master David Shaler will lead the BRSO Chorus. Begin the festive season with a celebration of holiday music sure to please the entire family. The evening will include full orchestra renditions of classics and light-hearted favorites.

Of the many jobs where one must listen to constant Christmas music, we really can't complain too much at the River Center. First it was the Baton Rouge Symphony Orchestra doing their Christmas show. Next was Baton Rouge Ballet Theatre's Nutcracker. Tonight it is Joy, an Irish Christmas (Christmas music tied in with Celtic music).

I would check out the Symphony's web page if I were you... They have quite the show coming up on February 8th. Trust me, it isn't what you are expecting.
