One thing we’ve learned is that many people don’t know the difference between a home daycare and a licensed Type III Child Care Center.
Yes, our building may have the appearance of a home from the front, but appearances can be deceiving.
Robyn’s Nest Learning Center is a licensed Louisiana Type III Early Learning Center.
That means we:�✅ Are licensed through the Louisiana Department of Education.�✅ Meet strict health and safety regulations.�✅ Participate in regular inspections.�✅ Meet staff training and educational requirements.�✅ Follow state child to teacher ratios.�✅ Use an approved curriculum.�✅ Participate in quality improvement through the state’s accountability system.

We would like to make you aware that an incident involving an adult visitor occurred at the center today. While the situation created a temporary disruption, we want to assure all families that the matter was addressed immediately and that all children and staff remained safe throughout the incident.
At Robyn's Nest Learning Center, the safety and well-being of our children, families, and employees will always be our highest priority. We maintain a zero-tolerance policy for threatening, disruptive, intimidating, or aggressive behavior on our premises. Our center is committed to providing a safe, nurturing, and positive environment where children can learn and grow without exposure to conflict or unsafe situations.
When situations arise that threaten the safety of our center community, we will take immediate action to protect our children and staff. This includes contacting law enforcement when necessary. In circumstances involving threats, harassment, disruptive conduct, or concerns for the safety of others, law enforcement will remain our first point of contact to ensure that situations are handled appropriately and professionally.
We appreciate the cooperation of our families and staff who remained calm and focused on the children during today's event. We are grateful for the trust you place in us each day and remain committed to maintaining a safe and secure environment for everyone who enters our doors.
