A special THANK YOU to our Manna Givers Ministry for preparing and serving a delicious meal at tonight’s SU Community Dinner!

Approximately 35 Southern University students enjoyed a hearty dinner of pastalaya, green beans, dinner rolls, homemade cake, fruit, and sodas. We are grateful to our Manna Givers for sharing their time, talents, and love through the ministry of hospitality.

Spread the word, SU students! On Thursday, September 10, from 5-6 PM, at the MLK Catholic Student Center, another generous organization will prepare and serve a FREE, hot and delicious meal for any and all Southern University students who would like to join us.

Come hungry, bring a friend, and enjoy good food and fellowship!

Let’s Beautify Scotlandville—Together!

Scotlandville residents, September is our opportunity to speak up and take action! Report neighborhood concerns such as litter, blighted properties, overgrown lots, discarded tires, neglected business fronts, abandoned vehicles, standing water, potholes, and other issues needing attention.

From September 1-30: Call 311. Report it. Keep your case number. Only issues reported to 311 during September will be addressed in October by the City of Baton Rouge Public Works.

Every report counts. Let’s take advantage of this opportunity to make Scotlandville cleaner, safer, and more beautiful!
