🥝 Today, we’re going down the rabbit hole of the KIWI.
And I think we found a better rabbit hole than the name.
Don’t Look This Up Unless You’re Ready…
A kiwi can literally mess with your dessert.
Fresh kiwi contains an enzyme called actinidin that breaks down proteins. That means if you put fresh kiwi into something made with gelatin, it can actually interfere with the gelatin setting properly.
So that innocent little green fruit sitting in your kitchen?
It has a protein-destroying enzyme inside it.
And here's the part I love for the video:
“I thought I was eating a cute little fuzzy fruit. Apparently this thing is chemically fighting my Jell-O.” 😂
That is the rabbit hole I'd take today.
“And spiritually, I think the kiwi is interesting because of what it looks like. It’s rough and fuzzy on the outside, but when you cut it open, there’s this bright green center filled with seeds. So I’d use kiwi symbolically for hidden potential, growth, and discovering sweetness underneath a rough exterior. It’s a reminder that what something looks like on the outside doesn't necessarily tell you what's developing inside.”
