Here are some pictures from our friends on the ground (and in the air) in Western North Carolina.
Since NC has been harder for us to access ourselves, we have created several wishlists for those affected, to be delivered directly to that area. One of the wishlists has a delivery address located near an amazon hub and away from the disaster area. Many of these items arrive the day of the order or within the following 2 days. The items are then driven or flown into the affected areas.
The amazing thing about these 2 lists is that the women receiving them are in communication with each other and are sharing items! It's been really amazing to see how people come together to do whatever it takes for those in need.
These wish lists include essential items including something we have not ever needed after a hurricane- cold weather supplies. This week, the lows in WNC are dropping to the low 40s and upper 30s. Please consider purchasing blankets, sleeping backs, socks, etc to keep our friends warm!
Thank you to everyone who has supported us in our efforts to aid the victims of Hurricane Helene. We cannot do this without you!

Our hearts go out to all of those affected by Hurricane Helene.
As one of BREAC's founders is from North Carolina, we are raising money to support the small town affected in the western part of the state.
Much of these rural areas have lost everything.
We are grateful to be able to partner with trusted locals there and will start with meals for those affected. $10 buys 4 meals for someone affected by Helene.
Please consider donating meals to those affected.
