Miss Amazing Inc. provides opportunities for young women with disabilities to build self-confidence through the skills learned in pageantry. Miss Amazing, Inc.
is a nonprofit organization founded in Nebraska in 2007. Now in our 9th year we are operating in 30 states across the nation. Our mission is to build confidence and self-esteem in girls and women with disabilities. Our programs offer opportunities for ages 5-elderly in a supportive environment. The only cost to participate is 5 canned food items. In 2015 we were honored to be a Special Event at th
e Special Olympics World Games in Los Angeles. Miss Amazing has been recognized by the governor of the state of Nebraska, Prudential Awards, HALO Awards, and top 30 of Loreal Women of Worth. Several national media programs have featured our work to include MSNBC, The Today Show, and Meredith Vieira Show.

Miss Amazing, Inc. strives to nourish and support local community organizations also dedicated to helping people with disabilities. The division winners get a taste for community service as they give the proceeds from the pageant back to the community. The future is not only bright for Miss Amazing, Inc., but also for additional programs that are to be founded on the belief that people with disabilities CAN achieve and have every ABILITY to reach for their dreams. The Louisiana Miss Amazing Pageant will be held March 25-26th, 2016 at the Theatre Baton Rouge, in Baton Rouge, LA. The registration deadline to participate is February 23rd, 2016.
