ABSOLUTE BATMAN #24

At HeroesCon in Charlotte, North Carolina, a new addition to the Absolute Bat Family was announced. Absolute Batman #24 this September will feature Barbara Gordon joining the Absolute Universe.

At the Absolute Universe panel, Absolute Batman's creative team of writer Scott Snyder and artist Nick Dragotta talked with DC Comics Editor-In-Chief Marie Javins, revealing the character was on the way. The Absolute Universe has slowly been bringing in several fan-favorite characters. Fans have long been anticipating when Barbara Gordon would join the universe, and they finally have their answer

Everyone else is. Barbara knows Batman didn't kill her father. She's going to grab her dad's coat. We've seen Bruce hanging up; he's going down this spiral from the Scarecrow. Barbara's going to take the mission into her own hands to avenge her father. She's got this great story; she's going to become The Bat. Her day job is a cop, but at night she'll have to go outside the law to get things done. But she still has this core, it almost feels more Batman than Batman,

Funny all the FREE BOOKS WE ordered but didn’t get are CONVENIENTLY AVAILABLE on the Website of the COMIC STORE THAT THE DISTRIBUTION CENTER IS AFFILIATED WITH, not mention that on the Lunar these issue are “unavailable & in BACKORDER status”
