This evening we had the opportunity to host the “Filing With Purpose: Tax Strategies For Growing Wealth” in partnership with University of Houston Athletics. During the session student athletes were presented with case studies that presented real life scenarios on how to manage taxation. We enjoyed engaging with the students in open dialogue and answering questions to help them in navigating through the tax code. Yesterday our firm celebrated 8 phenomenal years in business! We commemorated this achievement by partnering with The Wealth Collective and hosting our 2nd Annual Health and Wealth Conference! Last night I had the honor of announcing scholarship awards to some phenomenal students at the Southern University College of Business Spring 2025 Awards Banquet and Beta Gamma Sigma International Business Honors Society Induction Ceremony! This year the Baton Rouge Chapter of the Society for Louisiana CPAs awarded 2 scholarship awards to 2 deserving students pursuing degrees in the field of accounting, maintaing over a 3.0 GPA, and intending on sitting for the Certfied Public Accounting Exam upon graduation. This year we also awarded the inaugural J.Robins CPA, LLC scholarship award to 2 students meeting the same criteria! Thank you Southern University and Agricultural and Mechanical College at Baton Rouge for hosting such a magnificent evening honoring students in the College of Business for their academic achievements! The Baton Rouge Chapter of the LCPA and J.Robins CPA, LLC look forward to our continued support of the accounting program and nurturing students entering this tremendous profession!

Last weekend our office hosted our inaugural client appreciation holiday party! Our staff had an amazing time showing some of our most important people just how much we care, and also showcasing our newly renovated office space! Last night our organization had the opportunity to serve as an event sponsor of the Southern University System Foundation Donors Appreciation Gala for the 50th Annual Bayou Classic! Our team and invited guests had a great time celebrating the philanthropic contributions made by supporters of the Southern University System, and aim to continue assisting the university in reaching new heights!

I am excited to announce that I am one of 36 CPAs selected nationwide by the American Institute of CPAs (AICPA) to participate in the 2023 Leadership Academy Program in Durham, NC! 🍾🎉

The AICPA Leadership Academy was designed to strengthen and expand the leadership skills of promising young professionals while networking with a peer group of talented and motivated CPAs. We’ll participate in a four-day program featuring career-development workshops and sessions with some of the accounting profession’s most prominent influencers! 😎🤝🏽

To date, more than 480 CPAs have participated in the AICPA Leadership Academy. I’m elated to share this experience and navigate best practices with other ambitious industry professionals! Looking forward to a phenomenal experience! 🙏🏽

That’s right 6 years in business! 🎉🎊 One thing this year has taught us for sure is PATIENCE! 😮‍💨 As we enter into this next year we are excited for what the future brings for our practice, and can’t wait to share it with you all! Today our practice celebrates 5 YEARS of business! 🤩 Words can’t describe how ecstatic we are to reach such a significant milestone! Over the years we’ve aided our clients in establishing and growing their businesses, navigated through various tax law changes, expanded our staff, acquired new office space (coming real soon), hosted or served on panels for various financial literacy programs & seminars, and so much more! We want to send a HUGE thank you to every client, colleague, supporter, and affiliate who have sown into us over these past 5 years! We thank you for taking a chance on us and helping us to continue in the development of our practice each day! Our goal moving forward is to continue expanding our practice so we can keep providing quality and efficient financial services to our new and existing clients!
