Women in Media is mourning the passing of Joyce Harvey. A charter member of WIM, Joyce served for many years as WIM's program chair booking incredible speakers month after month, and was voted "Outstanding Woman in Media" in 1996.

Joyce was a strong and steadying force for all she knew and a guiding energy for not only Women in Media, but all she touched.

Our thoughts and prayers are with Tina and Ted, and her entire family in this difficult time. Your Mom was an incredible woman, a valued part of Women in Media and the Baton Rouge media family. She will be missed, but her legacy lives on in those she mentored and counseled along the way.
