We are a Louisiana nonprofit dedicated to strengthening the animal/human bond. And we encourage everyone to be a bit of good in the world everyday.
The Loveabulls Project responds to community needs both during times of disaster and everyday. The Loveabulls Project is a Louisiana nonprofit located in Baton Rouge, LA. Though our primary function these days due to life changes is Disaster Response, we started as a group of volunteers dedicated to rescuing pitbulls and dispelling myths about the breed. Through years of advocating for the "pitbul
ls" in the public, open intake shelter in East Baton Rouge Parish, the team came to a realization of a distinct and desperate need for help in the neighborhoods and communities where the dogs were coming from. The Loveabulls Project seeks to help dog (and cat) owners reach resources that may typically be out of reach for many. To work towards making Baton Rouge a No-Kill city, The Loveabulls Project works with dog owners in neighborhoods around the town to provide safe and healthy environments for their dogs, allowing them to remain with their families. By providing support to owners, including but not limited to access to spay/neuter, veterinary care, improved dog housing, & in-home behavior training, The Loveabulls Project hopes to help reduce the number of dogs, especially pitbulls, entering the East Baton Rouge Parish animal shelter. If you are interested in learning more about or becoming part of the work The Loveabulls Project is doing in the community, please email BRLoveabulls @ gmail.com. If you would like to donate to our disaster recovery efforts or our everyday existence, our Paypal address is [email protected]. As an all volunteer organization funded solely off donations, contributions are what keep us going. Thank you for your support!
