We are still over the moon reflecting on yesterday’s magnificent 2026 Mad Hatters Luncheon & Fashion Show ✨🚀

Held at the beautiful Crowne Plaza, the afternoon brought together over 30 incredible sponsors and 400 guests, all dressed in dazzling galaxy-inspired garments, celestial hats, and truly out of this world style.

Guests enjoyed a gourmet lunch followed by a stunning runway presentation featuring the best of spring fashion from some of our favorite boutiques — Chatterbox, Luca, Hemline (Towne Center), and Emily Katherine. Our gorgeous models absolutely shined, gracefully bringing each look to life and adding such beauty and energy to the show.

We were honored to be accompanied by the talented Baton Rouge Symphony Orchestra, led by Director Marshall Carby and Maestro Adam Johnson, creating an elegant and unforgettable musical backdrop.

Our auction was absolutely astronomical 🌟— with items that had everyone orbiting the bidding tables — and the energy in the room was simply cosmic.

The afternoon was a beautiful celebration of friends, fashion, and meaningful connection, as we proudly honored our extraordinary chair, Donna McNeill — truly the most radiant “astronaut” in the room. Our Chair Gunjan Raina and Co-Chair Casey Hicks outshined all expectations, alongside our League President Bridgette Coleman and our entire steering committee, who planned every detail to perfection. A special thank you to our incredible decorator, Matt Deville, whose vision brought this out of this world experience to life so beautifully.

Cheers to an unforgettable event, to all who attended and supported, and to continuing our mission of uplifting the arts in our community.

✨ Until next year… we can’t wait to launch again!!!

✨ Spotlight on Judith Vitanza-Kattan ✨

Baton Rouge author Judith Vitanza-Kattan is not only a gifted storyteller, but a true champion of the arts and her community.
