Our sweet little Pelican Nest had the BEST surprise today! 🥰 We were delighted to welcome published author Wendy Crooks, who came by to read her adorable new book, Priscilla the Pig! 🐷📖💕

Little ears were listening, little eyes were sparkling, and our hearts were full as Wendy brought Priscilla’s story to life! 🥰

Thank you, Wendy, for sharing your love of reading with our littlest Pelicans! We just LOVE a good story—and a very special piggy named Priscilla! 🐷💗📚✨

MBS~ ELC Faculty 2026

All week, our faculty has been busy preparing for the return of our students. Classrooms have been lovingly prepared, lessons planned, and materials put in place. We are ready to welcome our little ones back!

Today, however, we were blessed to step away from the preparations and join our MBS School counterparts for a beautiful morning of reflection.

Sharing our faith, our joy in our vocation, and our love for the children entrusted to us gave us an opportunity to pause and center our hearts once again on our mission as disciples, educators, and teachers of His Word.

How blessed we are to share in the mission of our school and parish—to nurture, care for, and educate our youngest and most precious little ones.

May God bless our faculty and staff as we begin another year of loving, teaching, and guiding His children. ❤️🙏🏻

The ELC would like to congratulate Amariya Jarvis. Amariya joined our staff two years ago as a junior at Woodlawn High School. We have been blessed to have her with us these past two years and wish her the very best in her future endeavors. She leaves for boot camp next week and we are so proud of all she has accomplished. Congratulations Amariya!!!! Good luck and come visit when you can!!!
