Painting and Pinot

Alright folks, I know that our next Mommy & Me is this weekend but let's talk about the ones scheduled after Bluey/Bingo. In October, we have two adorable, Halloween themed paintings just created for you guys. Which one do you like better?

School is out October 12 and 13, and we’re filling those mornings with paint pours, haunted skies, strange creatures and plenty of Halloween art.

Our Spooky Studio Half-Day Art Camp is open to ages 5–13 and runs from 8:30–11:30 a.m. Campers will complete several projects each day, and all supplies and a snack are included.

We’re limiting camp to 20 artists, so don’t wait too long to grab a spot.

We are choosing our mascot on October 1st! You can choose from a Jaguar eye or a Tiger eye. Both are beautiful and super fun to create.

So, I've been doing this for almost 16 years (!) and I still get in my own head about the art I create. Take this cute little guy for example. I actually painted him last year but convinced myself that no one would want to paint him. Here we are this year, I finally put him on the calendar and the class is filling up!

Sometimes you have to just stop talking to yourself and have fun!

We had the absolute best weekend! Friday night started off with our "Paint your Partner" class. We had some incredible talent (and some really great participants). Throughout the class, participants weren't allowed to see what their partners were painting. We ended the class with a big reveal. (Keep an eye out for that video!).

Saturday morning was full of Spiderman fans! Our Mommy/Daddy and Me classes are always some of our favorites.

On Sunday, we had our annual "Create for a Cause." I failed to get a ton of pictures but we did raise $250 for The Greater Baton Rouge Food Bank!
