Romeo loves getting out for walks, exploring, and spending time with people. He walks nicely on leash, knows “sit” and “lay down,” takes treats gently, and happily leans in for pets with a loose, wiggly body.

He is still building confidence in new or busy spaces and can be selective with other dogs, so he’ll do best with a patient adopter and thoughtful introductions.

Yesterday’s adoption event at Barracuda Tacos was full of good food, sweet foster dogs, and one very special happy ending.

A huge thank you to Barracuda Tacos for welcoming CAA and giving our adoptable pets a chance to meet the community. We are also so grateful to every foster who brought dogs out, every person who stopped by, and everyone who helped make the day such a success.

And the best part? Santana was adopted! 🎉

Thank you to Santana’s new family for choosing adoption and giving her the second chance she deserves. Days like this remind us how powerful community support can be for the animals in our care. 💙
