Before you hire a builder, ask who they use as subcontractors. It’s one of the best ways to gauge the quality of the work you’ll get.

Almost all of our subs are owner-operators, so the owner is on site while the work is being done, or even doing the work themselves. The people responsible for the work and craftsmanship are the ones actually on the job site.

That means fewer mistakes, and if an issue does come up, you know the owner will be right back on the job making it right💪🏼

Watch as we walk you through the trim carpentry work and custom shelving details that go into every closet, storage room, pantry, or wherever you want it to go.

One of the perks of building custom: you get to meet with our trim carpenter on site to discuss all closet and shelving layout throughout your home. You can customize these details to whatever works best for you and your space.

And the beauty of building custom is if you see something along the way you want to add or change, we can make it happen🤝🏼

Football season is almost here… is your outdoor living space ready?🤔

Last spring we remodeled our own outdoor kitchen and game room and turned it into an outdoor living area that everyone can enjoy — even in the Louisiana heat and humidity. Retractable screens and a 5-ton AC unit means we can enjoy being outside with friends and family no matter what the weather is doing.

It’s hands down one of the best decisions we’ve made. It’s the perfect place for hosting or even just a hangout spot, especially during football season. This is your sign to upgrade your outdoor living area or incorporate one into your custom plans👆🏻

Ready to build a custom home? Our biggest piece of advice is to start with your builder, not an architect.

It’s important to meet with a few builders and find your top contenders before you start designing. This will help you design a set of plans that you love, without blowing your budget.

Going the design-build route makes it easier on both ends. The client gets what they want with transparent pricing, and the builder is involved in every discussion and detail throughout the process.
