What Do You Mean If?
Mark 9:23-24 New Living Translation
23 “What do you mean, ‘If I can’?” Jesus asked. “Anything is possible if a person believes.”24 The father instantly cried out, “I do believe, but help me overcome my unbelief!
I wonder how many times this has been Jesus’ response to me. How many times has He’s asked me, “What do you mean if?” I wonder how many miracles I have left sitting on a spiritual shelf because I’m wondering if Jesus can do anything. Do you remember that hymn “What a Friend We Have in Jesus”? There’s a stanza that says, “Oh, what peace we often forfeit, Oh, what needless pain we bear, All because we do not carry Everything to God in prayer.” I wonder how much peace has been forfeited because I chose to be anxious and wonder if Jesus could do anything. I wonder how much needless pain I have gone through because I’m contemplating whether or not Jesus can heal, provide, protect, direct, rearrange, or I’ve simply left Jesus out of the situation.
I’ve learned that Jesus died to pay the price for my sin, and He rose so that I could live new life here on earth. Since I have decided to live this life, I need to know what kind of life this is and what is possible for me. The Word of God spells everything out so there are no ifs. Isaiah 45:2 says He will make the crooked places straight. Jeremiah 32:17 says that there is nothing too hard for the LORD. Matthew 6:33 tells me to seek Him first and everything else will be given to me as well. It’s time to believe the Lord. It is time to believe like Romans 3:4 and believe that God is true and everyone else and everything else is a liar. It’s time to believe God over what we see, over what we feel, over what the diagnosis is, and over the pronouncement. Let’s believe God!
Lord, please forgive me for questioning your ability. I want to live like a believer. I want to believe what You say is true regardless of the evidence that is stacked against You. Help me stand firm and trust Your Word. Thank You for the miracles that You are working suddenly on my behalf. In Jesus’ Name…

Miracle Monday
Acts 19:11-12 NIV
God did extraordinary miracles through Paul, so that even handkerchiefs and aprons that had touched him were taken to the sick, and their illnesses were cured and the evil spirits left them.
By definition a miracle is “an extraordinary event manifesting divine intervention in human affairs”, so what is an extraordinary miracle? How do you get better than a miracle? By this time in the book of Acts, the lame man at the Beautiful Gate had been healed. Remember “silver and gold have I none but in the Name of Jesus rise and walk!”? Believers had prayed and the place shook. Phillip had cast out demons, healed the paralyzed and ran as fast as a horse pulling a chariot. Peter had visions, and strangers received directions to the place where Peter was staying. Paul had an encounter on the road to Damascus and Peter was rescued from prison by angels. And after all this, we read God did extraordinary miracles as if all these other things were just ordinary regular Monday miracles for God.
Read the scripture again. It says that even handkerchiefs healed people. It doesn’t say that Paul touching handkerchiefs and sending them to people to be healed were the only extraordinary miracles God was doing. Whenever God shows up in our lives, miracles happen because He’s not natural. He’s supernatural and His ways are outside of our natural order of things. God’s regular mode of operation is miraculous because He’s God. I’ve heard people say that we need miracles to get us out of tough situations and we have the blessing when we don’t have a situation. I disagree. Anytime God shows up a miracle happens, but we have to believe in order to receive. God is omnipresent, but we have to believe in order to encounter His Presence. So on this Miracle Monday, make up our mind to believe everything you know about God. He’s performing miracles today!
Lord, I expect miracles today. I ask You for Your Presence in my life. Show up and do things Your way. Your Kingdom come because that is the place of miracles and Your will be done in me today. In Jesus’ Name…

Anything is Possible
Mark 9:23-24
New Living Translation 23 “What do you mean, ‘If I can’?” Jesus asked. “Anything is possible if a person believes.”24 The father instantly cried out, “I do believe, but help me overcome my unbelief!
In verse 24 this father confesses his problem. It’s not just doubt or unbelief. It’s the fact that he owns the unbelief. His prayer request is help my unbelief. There are things in this world that are unbelievable or doubtful like conspiracy theories. I don’t believe in aliens. I don’t believe the earth is flat.I don’t believe the COVID vaccine has a chip in it to connect me to the mark of the beast. I don’t believe all white people are racists. I don’t believe in Santa Claus. Those are some of the things that I doubt and don’t believe. I don’t have an issue until my unbelief contradicts with the character and nature of God. God cannot lie, so if my unbelief is in something He said then I have a problem.
And like this father I cannot believe for the “anything is possible” if there are things that God has said that I don’t believe. Do I really believe the Lord when He said, “I will contend with those who contend with you, and your children I will save.”( Isaiah 49:25) If I do then why do I approach the Throne of Grace desperate and hopeless hoping and a wishing for some crumb from the Father that will fix my children? If I say I’m standing on the verse, yet I’m desperate, I don’t believe. I want to, but as long as that desperation is present in my prayers I’m not operating in faith. When I’m in faith I’m not moved by what I see. I pray with the confidence that I already have what I’m asking for. If I’m not there, then before I begin to confess the scripture I need to confess my unbelief. And just like that I am qualified for anything is possible! Examine yourself and confess your unbelief. God is willing and waiting to cause the impossible to happen for you.
Lord, I believe You are good, and I believe you have good things in store for me. I don’t want to live in unbelief. Convict me of my unbelief. Help me to give it all over to You so that you can do the impossible in my life. In Jesus’ Name…

Even Greater
John 14:12-14 TPT
“I tell you this timeless truth: The person who follows me in faith, believing in me, will do the same mighty miracles that I do—even greater miracles than these because I go to be with my Father! For I will do whatever you ask me to do when you ask me in my name. And that is how the Son will show what the Father is really like and bring glory to him. Ask me anything in my name, and I will do it for you!”
In order to truly live this life that Jesus died to give us we must come to the realization that Jesus is expecting us to do even greater. He does not want us to have a regular human experience. He does not want us to get by until we get to Heaven. He wants us to live a supernatural life now doing the same miracles that He did, and then He actually expects us to do greater.
It’s interesting to me how it’s easy for us as humans to read symptoms online and diagnose ourselves. We easily embrace the labels of this natural world. We look to make sense of ourselves and our experiences based on the definitions of this world. Yet we have a hard time looking into the Word and diagnosing ourselves. It’s so hard to help people see who they are according to the promises of God. It’s unbelievable to so many that they are and they have exactly what the Word says. We cannot do greater until we leave the system, the diagnosis, and the labels of the natural world. When we are in Christ, old things have passed away and everything has become new. Start believing that.
Lord, I know that You expect me to do greater. Help me to start believing You. Help me to live as if the old has passed away. Help me to live in this new system, this new Kingdom that You have brought me into. In Jesus’ Name…

He is Faithful
2 Timothy 2:13 New International Version
If we are faithless he remains faithful, for he cannot disown himself.
A.W Tozer said, “What comes into our minds when we think about God is the most important thing about us.” What comes to your mind when you think of God? Do you ever think about the word faithful? Many people think about the love of God or the power of God or the goodness of God, but I have come to realize that is all a result of the faithfulness of God. I remember one of the first scriptures my daughter learned in kindergarten-Hebrews 10:23b, “for He who promised is faithful.”
God is faithful. He cannot stop being who He is. He can never be untrue to Himself. He cannot change His nature. Therefore if He promised something, He does it. God promised Noah that He would never again destroy the earth by flood. I have to believe that in the year 2026 people have found a way to be just as wicked or even more wicked than the people in Noah’s day, yet God has not destroyed the entire world with a flood. He keeps His Word. He is faithful. Paul said in 2 Timothy that when we are faithless God remains faithful. When we insult Him with the way we live, He remains faithful. When we reject the gifts Jesus died to give us or we ignore the Holy Spirit, God still remains faithful. The sun shines on us everyday. We always have enough air to breathe, and He is always near waiting for us to reach out to Him. So just imagine what God does for us when we are faithful to Him. Imagine what His faithfulness can bring into our lives when we are living faith- filled lives. Take some time today and think about God’s faithfulness. It is simply who He is.
Thank You Lord for being faithful. Thank You for never changing. Thank You for watching over Your Word and performing it. Thank You for keeping all of Your promises. Help me to live like You. Help me to be faithful and live a faith filled life. In Jesus’ Name...

Say So
Psalms 107:1-2 NKJV
Oh, give thanks to the Lord, for He is good! For His mercy endures forever. Let the redeemed of the Lord say so, Whom He has redeemed from the hand of the enemy…
There are so many scriptures that instruct us to use the power of our mouths to speak the Word of God. We know that the Word of God in our mouths is living and active, full of power, operative and effective. We know that the power of life and death is in our tongues. We know that we were created in the image of God to be speaking spirits so that when we declare a thing, it is so. Let’s use our powers for good. The psalmist said let the redeemed of the Lord say so. We are to declare our redemption. We have been redeemed like a piece of jewelry from a pawn shop. We have been purchased, bought back, restored to our rightful owner. We are not our own, we have been bought with a price. We belong to Jesus who has bought with his blood.
Now what does it mean if I say so? If I am the redeemed of the Lord and I declare that is who I am, I say so, I am saying that I acknowledge the rights and privileges that belong to me because I belong to Him. I acknowledge that I have been given everything I need for life. I acknowledge that because I am redeemed and I say so, all things work together for my good and no good thing is withheld from me. I acknowledge that I am always led into victory, my crooked places are made straight, and I shall not want. We don’t read the terms and conditions for things we purchase or use online. We click the box that says, “yeah yeah I agree”. But in this real life, this Kingdom life, we need to go back and read the terms and conditions in the Word and then tell the devil it’s because I said so! I’m healed because I said so! I’m delivered because I said so! I’m prosperous because I said so! I have peace because I said so! I said that I am redeemed and I know what that means! You’re redeemed. Say so!
Thank You Jesus for redeeming my life with Yours. Thank You for not only saving me from sin but also enabling me to live life abundantly. Help me understand what redemption has done for me and remind me to say what I acknowledge that I have received from You. In Jesus’ Name…

Take It Back
Hebrews 4:12 AMPC
For the Word that God speaks is alive and full of power [making it active, operative, energizing, and effective]; it is sharper than any two-edged sword, penetrating to the dividing line of the breath of life (soul) and [the immortal] spirit, and of joints and marrow [of the deepest parts of our nature], exposing and sifting and analyzing and judging the very thoughts and purposes of the heart.
This is just your Monday reminder to choose violence! Jesus said “And from the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffers violence, and the violent take it by force.” Matthew 11:12 There are things that the devil is not letting you have. He is not cooperating with your abundant life. He is doing his best to kill, steal, and destroy, therefore you will need to get violent with him and take whatever is necessary by any means necessary so that you can have and enjoy life.
We were reminded yesterday that the Word of God that we speak is alive and full of power. Speaking the Word to the situation, circumstance, obstacle and the devil is effective. It’s violent like a two-edged sword. The Word of God is the weapon you need to go get your healing, your provision, your peace, your family, and anything else that belongs to you. Make a decision and then use the Word! Let’s live in victory today.
Thank You Lord for giving me everything I need for life. Show me how to speak Your Word effectively and at the right time so I can take back from the devil all the things You died to give me. In Jesus’ Name..

His Fathfulness
Deuteronomy 7:9 NIV
Know therefore that the Lord your God is God; he is the faithful God, keeping his covenant of love to a thousand generations of those who love him and keep his commandments.
Let’s take a few minutes today and look at what Moses said. The first word is know. If you don’t know God and if you don’t know the character of God, you won’t have the privilege of experiencing the fullness of His blessings. Next, you have to have a relationship. He has to be the Lord your God. Not everyone is a child of God, but you are and you need to know that the Lord that you are in relationship with is God. There is no other God but Him. He is the creator God. It is interesting how people like to talk about what the universe is doing, when we know the one that created the universe! And this God, our God who created all things, has all power, and is ruler of everything is faithful.
What is faithfulness? When people are faithful in a marriage relationship, they keep their vows. They do the things they promised to do. Moses said that the Lord keeps His covenant of love for a thousand generations. At a wedding we promise to keep our promises until we die. I can’t even go back in my family tree a thousand generations, yet God keeps promises at least that long. I’ve heard people talk about living on their grandmother’s prayers or their mother’s prayers. That’s because God is faithful and He answers prayers others prayed on our behalf. If God has given you a promise, and He has-they’re in the Word, know that you can trust Him. He’s faithful. He will do exactly what He said He would.
Thank You Lord for Your faithfulness. Thank You for keeping Your Word and for working on my behalf. I trust You with every aspect of my life. Let Your will be done. In Jesus’ Name…
