Today, Sept 22nd Our Capitol High School middle school football team is playing the panthers at Glen Oaks at 2:40pm. They are looking to stay undefeated and need your support! In the battle of the big cats who will be victorious?

We would like to thank the EBR Schools Nursing Division for coming by Capitol High School to administer the annual hearing and vision screenings for our CHS students. Good hearing and good vision promote good academics. Here are a few shots courtesy of Capitol Media.

On Friday, Capitol High School celebrated the growth and mastery of over 100 scholars on their Spring LEAP test. Many achieved MASTERY in Science, ELA, Social Studies and Math. To celebrate Principal Greely and the P.B.I.S. team (Asst. Principal Seals, Mrs. Martin, Mr. Smith and Ms. Wessinger) threw an ice cream party and they were awarded free-dress for the rest of the year. We are so proud of all of their accomplishments! Congratulations to all of the scholars and we know you will continue to work hard because here at Capitol... WE ARE Mastery!

.We would like to extend our sincere appreciation to Judge Greggs of the 19th Judicial District Court for taking the time to visit Capitol High School on Thursday.

Judge Greggs shared insight into her day-to-day responsibilities as a Criminal Judge, discussed her professional journey, and encouraged our students to believe in themselves and understand that they can accomplish anything they put their minds to.

Thank you, Judge Greggs, for investing your time in our students and reminding them that they are seen, valued, and capable of achieving their goals.
