This a double bass shuffle groove/timing exercise I’ve been working on lately. Here we go…
Hands play a continuous standard 8th note triplet based shuffle pattern (swung 8ths on hat or ride & backbeat on 2 & 4). Using alternating strokes, feet play two measure variations (with one bar of time between each variation- kick on downbeat)
Tempo in clip is 100 bpm

2nd 8th of triplet each beat

1/2 note triplet pulse
