Not every engine has to be an all-out race build to be impressive. 👊

This one is being built for a crew cab Silverado where reliability, drivability, and strong power were the priorities.

Build Specs:
• 4.075” bore LS short block
• Flat-top hypereutectic pistons
• Factory connecting rods with ARP rod bolts
• CNC-balanced OEM GM crankshaft
• Custom-ground camshaft
• Gromm Racing CNC ported 11° LS3 cylinder heads and a complete performance valvetrain

The bottom end is intentionally simple and proven. The real performance comes from the airflow. Those 11° LS3 heads move some serious air, and paired with the custom cam, this combination should deliver excellent throttle response, broad torque, and plenty of horsepower while remaining perfectly happy as a daily driver.

The goal wasn’t to build the biggest dyno queen—it was to build an engine you can drive every day, put thousands of miles on, and still have enough power to put a smile on your face every time you hit the throttle.

That’s the kind of engine I enjoy building.

Another solid Gen V 6.2 Build

This 6th Gen Camaro LT1 is staying true to what made these engines great from the factory—we’re just making sure it’s built to last.

Build Specs:
▪️ Brand new GM 6.2L LT1 block
▪️ Fully CNC machined and precision prepped
▪️ New GM forged LT1 crankshaft
▪️ New GM standard-size pistons
▪️ Reconditioned GM powder metal connecting rods with ARP rod bolts
▪️ Mild performance camshaft
▪️ Upgraded valve spring package
▪️ Blueprint assembled with every critical clearance verified

Not every build needs forged internals and a huge camshaft. The customer loved how the stock LT1 performed, so the goal here was simple: maintain factory-like drivability, improve reliability, and add a little extra performance without sacrificing longevity.

These are some of my favorite builds because they’re meant to be driven. Smooth idle, excellent street manners, dependable, and just enough cam to put a smile on your face every time you hit the throttle.

Built with the same attention to detail whether it’s a 500-horsepower street car or 1500 horsepower race engine.

Another LS engine package coming together.

This LS-based 5.3 aluminum block is getting transformed into a serious street/strip combination.

Build Specs:
▪️ 4.125” bore sleeved aluminum block
▪️ Callies Compstar forged connecting rods
▪️ Callies Compstar 4.00” 8CCW crank
▪️ ARP Mains & Head Studs
▪️ Performance cylinder head & valvetrain package

This one is being built around an LSA supercharger, so it should make a very responsive, reliable boosted package. The goal isn’t just big dyno numbers—it’s a combination that will live and put the power down.

Can’t wait to hear the blower whine and see this G8 hit the road. 👊

If you’re looking for a custom LS, LT, Hemi, or Coyote build, send me a message. Every engine is machined, measured, and assembled with the same attention to detail.

There’s a big difference between making horsepower and building an engine that customers actually enjoy driving.

This 6.2L TRX build was designed to do both.

The goal wasn’t just to make a big dyno number, it was to build an engine that can handle serious power while maintaining the drivability expected from a modern Hellcat-powered truck.

Build Specs:
• Manley 4.050” Forged Crankshaft
• Oliver I-Beam Connecting Rods
• DSS FX3 Forged Pistons w/ .225” Wall Wrist Pins
• Total Seal Gas-Ported Ring Pack
• Custom PD Blower Camshaft
• ARP Main Bolts & Head Studs
• CNC Ported HEMI Cylinder Heads
• Upgraded Supercharger

When customers say they want “good drivability,” that can mean something different to everyone. Some want a truck that idles like stock, while others don’t mind a little lope if it means picking up power. Camshaft design, compression ratio, cylinder head airflow, blower efficiency, converter choice, and the calibration all have to work together to achieve the right balance.

That’s what custom engine building is about, building the combination around the customer, not just throwing expensive parts together.

Looking forward to seeing this one back in the truck where it belongs.

Another Ford headed towards being a serious street/strip application.
This Gen 3 Coyote was built for reliability and performance in mind.

Build Highlights :
Gen 3 Coyote Block w ARP Main Studs
Boss 302 Forged Crankshaft
4340 H Beam Rods
Mahle 2618 Pistons
Precision machine , blueprint measuring and careful assembly throughout

Every engine that leave my shop is built with the same mindset. If you don’t know something, you didn’t check it.
Bearing oil clearances , rings , block oil clearances , and attention to detail are some of what makes a boosted engine live.

Whether you’re looking for a reliable street engine foundation or an engine that can handle serious power , that’s the goal with every build.

If you’re looking into building your next Coyote, LS, LT, Hemi , send me a message.

This 434ci LS is being built around one goal: making big, reliable boost power with a centrifugal supercharger.

Starting with a BPE 6 bolt block, forged rotating assembly, X-beam rods, custom camshaft designed specifically for the intended operating range, and a set of CNC-ported Brodix BR7 cylinder heads, every component has been selected to work together as a complete package rather than a collection of parts.

A centrifugal blower has very different airflow demands than a positive displacement supercharger or naturally aspirated combination. Camshaft events, compression ratio, cylinder head selection, and overall engine package must all be tailored to maximize efficiency under boost.

This build is being designed to deliver:
Excellent high-rpm airflow
Stable valvetrain operation
Strong boost efficiency
Broad usable powerband
Reliability under sustained load

The goal isn’t just horsepower, it’s creating an engine package that makes power efficiently and survives doing it.

Stay tuned as this 434ci boosted LS comes together.
