- Child support is based on income; however, the potential for income to be made is also considered.

- Courts can impute income if a parent quits or reduces earnings without a valid reason.

Our very own Linnea Brailsford recently testified before the Judiciary Committee at the Louisiana State Legislature regarding proposed changes that could impact proceedings in Family Court.
