This tree suffered a large trunk wound after being struck by a car. Our crew performed bark tracing around the damaged area to remove loose and compromised bark and establish a cleaner edge for the tree's natural wound response to form wound-wood.

We then turned our attention underground. Air spading (vertical mulching) allowed us to loosen compacted soil, increase soil pore space around the tree's root zone. We incorporated sand and granular fertilizer (Nutri-root)into the root zone and followed up with a deep-root injection of liquid suspension of mycorrhiza to support overall tree health and root development for healing.

We are growing and in need to fill 2 positions immediately here in Baton Rouge-

1- Groundsman- Qualifications: Ideally, at least 1-2 years experience in the tree care profession, valid Driver's License and willing to jump in to this with both feet. We will get you trained and pointed in the right direction. You will be surrounded by a team of experienced and certified tree care professionals.

2- Experienced Arborist/Crew Leader- Qualifications: Minimum of 5 years experience in the field of Arboriculture, experience operating tree industry equipment, 3-5 years of climbing. Salary based on your experience. Arborist Lic. and CDL is a Plus. Must have a clean driving record, mode of transportation, valid Driver's License.
