Bouquet Slings 🌸

These little crochet flower slings are just the cutest and they’re finally ready! Shoutout to Katelynn Zaunbrecher for making them.

Made to hold a wrapped bouquet and make carrying your market flowers a little easier (and cuter).

I’ll have them this Saturday at the Fall Flower Market at Modern Munchkin + I’m putting them live my the website today!

I’ve always loved the idea of walking through a flower market. Rows of buckets filled with pretty flowers, plants, coffee, and just enjoying a slow Saturday morning.

Then I remember that September in Louisiana still means it is basically 100 degrees outside. So while we might not have Seattle weather, why not have our own version of a flower market INSIDE?

I’ve brought together a few local growers for the FIRST Fall Flower Market at The Modern Munchkin Co | Whitney M Tiemann

There will be Louisiana-grown flowers, mixed bouquets, single stems, dried flowers, plants, coffee from Stir Coffee House and sunflower bundles from Samantha B. Perritt

We’ll also have a coloring station for the kiddos, and Modern Munchkin will have all of their gardening tools and supplies out if you leave inspired to start something at home.

It was a joy to flower for the sweetest couple last weekend. 💕

I was absolutely a little stressed about these flowers traveling all the way to TX, but they did amazing! Local flowers are built different. 😊

Heirloom mums are hands down one of my favorite cut flowers. Years back, I got the chance to participate in a mum trial with and was hooked. Sadly, because of a freak accident, I lost all my stock and it broke my heart.

These are not the easiest or cheapest to source, but I’ve been slowly growing them, taking cuttings, and giving them love..and they are looking amazing.

Shoutout to for the best looking starters🫶 Fingers crossed for beautiful blooms in November.

Spring 2026. It was a blast, but honestly the weather was brutal on the plants and this summer I am seeing the results of that with the pest pressures. Here’s hoping Fall is a cool one, it’s so needed.
