You do not always have to see your doctor first to start physical therapy.

Louisiana allows patients to have direct access to physical therapy, which means you can go directly to a physical therapist for an evaluation without a physician referral.

At Kinetic, your first visit starts with a conversation and a thorough evaluation so your therapist can understand what is going on, identify what may be contributing to your symptoms, and determine the best course of care.

If physical therapy is appropriate, you can get started without adding another appointment to your calendar first.
