Here’s what’s new at Relish this week!
Truffle Honey Sea Salt – I was on the fence about carrying this one because I was worried it wouldn’t be very versatile, but once I gave it a try, it won me over. It’s got a nice balance of umami and sweetness, making it quite good for adding some depth to roasted vegetables, vinaigrettes, and chicken. Try it on popcorn too!
Olive Crunch and Olive Crush – These were viral on Instagram and Ashley from Ashley Frye suggested (or insisted) that I carry them. They’re dehydrated olives, so think: crunchy and concentrated brininess. I’ve been enjoying them in salads, but I think they’d be fab stirred into some whipped ricotta.
Gochugaru Chili Oil – The shiitake oil from Algae Cooking Club was an unexpected hit, so I decided to add this Korean-inspired finishing oil to my lineup too. It’s spicy and a touch smoky; I made twice-baked potatoes with cheddar last week and then topped them with kimchi and a drizzle of this oil, which was amaaaazing.
Vermont Maple Spice Blend – A great addition to your summer grilling repertoire, this seasoning is sweet, savory, and a little bit spicy. It would pair well with chicken and pork, and as we move into fall, it’ll be your new go-to for roasted Brussels sprouts.
Apple Bacon BBQ Sauce – Unless we’re talking mustard-based Carolina BBQ, most BBQ sauces are tomato based, but this one is made with roasted apples. No high-fructose corn syrup either!
Applewood Smoked Crackers – Potter’s Crackers were one of my faves when I lived in Wisconsin and this smoked flavor is fantastic with some good aged cheddar or gouda and onion jam.

Hold on to that feeling.

Here’s what’s new on the shelves at Relish this week:
Primis Imports Basil Oil and Pizza Oil – Come for the jaunty labels, stay for the tasty infused olive oil.
Gourmet Chip Company Black Turtle Herb, Italiano Modena Garden Herb, and Apple Cider Vinegar & Balsamic Vinegar Potato Chips – MORE CHIPS! I stock them for you, I stock them for me, I stock them for my fellow Boardwalk shopkeepers who can’t stop snacking on them.
Modica Passion Fruit Mojito Mixer – So tropical and summery! Also makes a fab mocktail with sparkling water.
Relish x Bee Coco Candles – I had a few people ask for smaller candles so they could buy multiple scents, so I asked my friends at Bee Coco Candle | Non-Toxic Candles, Perfumes & More. if they could pour some for me and they delivered. (And if you want all 3, I’ve got boxed sets too!)
Jacobsen Salt Co. Infused Slide Tins – When you’re just too bougie for table salt, you can bring these tins with you wherever you go. (This is also a fun Father’s Day gift for dads who like to cook.)
Brownwood Farms Jalapeño Peach Salsa – Tastes like summer, friends.
Lindera Farms Ramp Vinegar – Savory and garlicky, this vinegar is great for dressings, making roasted vegetables pop, and even for perking up a Bloody Mary.
Big Spoon Roasters Peanut Pecan Butter - This was a customer request, because yes, I do take customer requests and special orders, so bring ‘em on!

Let’s face it: dads are hard to shop for.
1. Calicutts Grill Master Gift Set: All the spices and seasonings dad needs for his summer grilling.
2. Makabi & Sons Bourbon Butterscotch Shortbread: This limited edition Father’s Day flavor is rich and buttery, with notes of toffee and vanilla bean.
3. Aged & Infused Bittered Orange and Cherry Cocktail Infusion Kit: Yes, there are many alcohol infusion kits in this world, but how many of them have a convenient spout for pouring?
4. Farm Steady Semolina Pasta Making Kit: This is a gift for dad, but you will benefit too. I mean, he can’t eat all that pasta himself, can he?
5. Meat Society Birria Smoke Bomb: Give dad the gift of making birria at home. These bombs dissolve in the crockpot and eliminate the need to empty out your pantry and measure eleventy-billion different spices.
6. BBQ Deck: Because holding a cookbook while grilling probably isn’t the best idea.

Extended hours! Because weekends can be busy and you might just be working during the day on Friday, the Boardwalk is now open Thursday 5-8 and until 7 on Fridays.
Of course, now that I said this, I have to add the caveat that if the weather is as bad as they say it’s going to be tomorrow night, we might not be open (but even sourdough crackers aren’t worth dodging golf ball size hail or being lifted away to Oz in a gust of wind).

What’s new at Relish this week? Oh baby, you just have to come in and find out! (Actually no, you can just swipe through these photos. Also, sorry for calling you baby, that was weird.)
Bittercube Bitters – Straight from Milwaukee! We’ve got Blackstrap, Cherry Bark Vanilla, and Root Beer and friends, they are phenomenal. All 3 flavors work well in an Old Fashioned and I’m also happy to point you in the direction of other cocktail ideas.
Modica Blueberry Lavender Lemon Drop Mixer - You all are L O V I N G our mixers and this award winner is the latest in our collection. It’s made with real blueberries, lavender, and citrus, because cloyingly sweet neon cocktail mixers give me the ick.
Bittercube Cocktail Cedars – Just in time for Father’s Day! And they’re easier to use than you think (I promise).
American Vinegar Works Porter Beer Malt Vinegar – Dark, malty, and awesome for gussying up fries if you’re feeling a little British. It’s also great for marinating meat, which comes in handy during grilling season.
Farm Steady Semolina Pasta Making Kit – Introducing: your brand new hobby!
Calicutts Grill Master Set – Each set comes with 4 Calicutts blends made for grilling season: Cajun Blackened (spicy with a savory base), Steakhouse (smoky and herbaceous, with just a hint of heat), Golden Goddess (sweet and savory, with turmeric for some earthy citrus notes and beautiful color), and Backyard (smoked salt, pepper, and parsley).
BBQ Deck – Your ultimate grilling guide.
The Gourmet Chip Company Smoked Hops & Cheddar – These were flying off the front display as fast as I could stock them yesterday.

Old fashioned fans, we have restocked! Our sugar cubes and old fashioned accoutrements have been big sellers (and make an awesome Father’s Day gift too).

The perfect mug for those days when you’re feeling salty.

So many delicious new things at Relish this week!
Morris Kitchen Chamomile Peach Cocktail Mixer – Although it’s made for Bellinis, this mixer would work for so many other cocktails and mocktails (or just pair it with sparkling water, easy peasy).
Jammy Yummy Red Pepper and Jalapeño Jams – Like tomato jam, these are excellent for burgers, grilled cheese, and charcuterie boards.
The Gourmet Chip Company Potato Chips – If you’ve ever been to the Gourmet Chip cafe in Asheville, you KNOW. As a former North Carolina resident, I’m over-the-moon to carry their Sour Cream Lemon Tandoori, Lavender Honey & Bleu Cheese, and Hot Honey Korean BBQ flavors here at Relish.
San Juan Island Madrona Smoked Sugar – This finishing sugar is perfect for sprinkling over cookies and quick breads when they’re fresh out of the oven or for ri***ng cocktail glasses.
Makabi & Sons Shortbread – Two new flavors, because you’ve been loving the others. Matcha & Black Sesame brings Japanese vibes, while the Bourbon Butterscotch is a limited edition for Father’s Day and SO flippin’ good.
Mixly Rainbow Gift Set – Can’t decide which of our Mixly mixers to bring home? Get them ALLLLL.
Conza Sourdough Breadcrumbs – Because regular breadcrumbs from the grocery store have the taste and texture of sawdust. Sprinkle these over salads and pasta for a little crispity-crunch, use them as breading for meat and veggies, or fold them into your favorite meatball recipe.
Relish x Bee Coco Kitchen Freshening Sprays – You love the candles, now it’s time to meet the kitchen sprays. The perfect solution for freshening up your kitchen when you’ve got muskmelon rind in the garbage can or you forgot about the rice that was simmering on the stovetop. (Oops, it happens to the best of us.)
