Update on the pennies!
We are around 19,000 pennies. Still need 13,000. You can drop off at Buzz barbershop, Foxfire restaurant, and the Geneva history center.
I really appreciate you all trying to help us get this accomplished.

Transformers switched, primaries hot, they have to extend all the secondaries, should have power by 10:00. Such a pleasure to work with the Geneva Electric department. Thanks, Ed.

Just got home from work, I found somewhere around 2400 pennies at my front door, all the way from Florida.
From my friend Steve Beck, who I met in fourth grade at Blaine Street school.

Passed electrical service inspection, upgrading from 600 to 1000 amp service. Changeover is this Saturday between
4 AM and 10 AM.

The best is yet to come!

New stairs are in place for the second floor from the original entrance. They were removed by the previous contractor. It was a ridiculous amount of work to get the stairs back in place to current codes. The run was extended by 10 feet. Those are temporary treads, until we put down the new Hickory treads with painted poplar risers. On the first run of stairs we used 12”x 22’ foot micro- lams for stringers.
