What are you doing this summer? One option, that I hope you know about, is QuarkNet. Here, a group of QuarkNet students poses for me during a tour of the DZero detector at Fermilab. SMP students also get to tour DZero - it is rather awesome.
We are finalizing the schedule and the logistics for the coming Fall session of SMP.
The application period starts on August 1st.
Stay tuned here for more updates.

Winter Storm Warning for Friday February 9, 2018
Thursday Feb 8, 2018, 4:00 PM
The forecast is for the storm to be over by 9PM on Friday Feb 9. But if Lab Management decides to close the lab because of the weather, we will have to cancel or postpone class.
So, for now, we will go ahead with the neutrino lecture by Leo Aliaga on Saturday Feb 10 at 9:00 AM. If this changes, we will send an email message to the address under which you registered, we will update the SMP home page (https://smp.fnal.gov) and we will post a new message here on Facebook.
So stay tuned!
