Unfortunately, it looks like prescribed burns may be put on hold this spring. I am sure our first responders don't need me doing burns during this challenging time.

It is 2020 and everyone is gearing up for spring. At Graf Tree Care, a new division was launched. Great Lakes Urban Forestry Management is located in Michigan City, Indiana. Our expert staff of certified arborists will provide the following services. GIS Mapping of large tree populations, Tree Inventories, Reforestation Planning, Urban Forest Master Planning and Tree Risk Assessment. Of course, Graf Tree Care will remain in Batavia, Illinois to continue servicing our customers and provide the same services as Great Lakes Urban Forestry Management along with all aspects of tree care and Plant Health Care.
Some of you may know that I am a Certified Firefighter. Along with that certification, I am a Certified Prescribed Burn Manager. Graf Tree Care can provide prescribed burns for your prairie with our trained staff.
I will post weekly beginning this week. Next week I will talk about invasive species.

Twenty percent of the world's oxygen comes from the "Lungs of our Planet". Think its time to be concerned. Why fight global warming initiatives? If we do something good for the planet it only helps future generations. We only have one rock folks.
