The Baltimore Bridge disaster is just another result of the "New Global Economy" that we have been scammed into.
Relying on foreign countries for products has left this country dependent on others for our "stuff". Huge container ships from all over the world bringing invasive species and who knows what else into our country. How many manufacturing jobs have left people unemployed in this country because we now depend on China and Shri Lanka, Vietnam and other place where people work for slave wages and we are supporting it.
