Happy Spring to all you electric vehicle fans out there! The shop is getting ready to open and we are planning to have a table at our local Charter Day event coming up in May. Stay tuned for more news as the weather warms up!

It's a bit cold to be out in the garage building bikes. I took up airbrushing so that I can add my logo more permanently to the bikes rather than using stickers. We also have a Cricut printer now and I am using that to create stencils that I can airbrush over. While watching some airbrushing videos I picked up on how to draw graffiti style letters and I started using PowerPoint to draw and shade different sketches, which then blossomed into using PowerPoint to draw things like flowers and boxes. Here are some of my recent creations. Looking forward to building more bikes this spring!

Love Your Future. This is the wheel light that I have installed in both of the Slalom branded e-bikes I recently built. I programmed the light to display this message as it rotates. Here are a pair of branded e-bikes that I built for Slalom Consulting. I started with a basic Huffy beach cruiser and added a 350 watt front motor wheel with 36 volt 15 amp hour batteries in the bag on the rack. One of the major themes that Slalom promotes throughout the company is "Love Your Future" and I used this on the control box label along with many Slalom logos to finish decorating the bike. Another Mike's E-Bike's creation is up for sale. I give you "Steve's Beach Cruiser". A 350 watt front wheel drive motor breathes new life into this old beach cruiser that can do about 20 miles an hour on the flats and the 15ah battery provides about 25 miles of range depending on rider weight and terrain.
