Our very own Jaye Barre was honored by Governor Phil Murphy for her outstanding contributions to community theatre in New Jersey. We can't think of a more deserving person! Please give your congratulations to our remarkable president!

AUDITION ANNOUNCEMENT!!! Trilogy Repertory is seeking actors for their upcoming production of THE TRIP TO BOUNTIFUL by Horton Foote.  The production will have five performances November 16, 17, 22, 23, & 24, 2024 at the Sieminski Theater in Basking Ridge.  Rehearsals to begin September 16th.  Directed by Lynn Polan Produced by Jaye Barre Auditions will be held at Bernards Township Community Center, 289 South Maple Ave, Basking Ridge, NJ in Basking Ridge on:  Wednesday September 4th at 7pm Saturday September 7th at 12pm Callbacks (by request only) on Wednesday September 11th at 7pm Those auditioning will be asked to read a scene from the play.  SYNOPSIS:  Horton Foote’s timeless, classic American play, THE TRIP TO BOUNTIFUL is both humorous and poignant.  Set in a cramped apartment in 1950’s Houston, Carrie Watts, an elderly woman, longs to escape her overprotective son, Ludie, and bossy daughter-in-law, Jessie Mae.  Just once before she dies, Mrs. Watts wants to return to her beloved childhood home in Bountiful Texas.  She escapes and on her journey, she meets kindly people who help her on her way.  This is a heartbreaking, but ultimately life-affirming, tale that celebrates resilience, memory, hope, and forgiveness. Trilogy Repertory has a non-traditional, inclusive casting policy.  All roles are open and everyone is encouraged to audition. Ordering a gown that is closest to your measurements is so important because it gives you and the alterations dept a better jumping off point when it comes to getting a great fit within an average cost window. Yes the old saying is true that it’s usually better to take things in than try to let them out, but that’s not a license to order things larger bar none. The cost of altering a top is much less than the cost of altering the entire garment and re-patterning in order yo size down. Nearlyweds, be sure you are asking questions about the company you are buying from (but also you should still trust your sales consultants) and sales consultants, if this is common practice for you, please consider changing it up.
