Bernards Township (Basking Ridge) is hosting a landmark community event on June 13, 2026, timed to one of the most exciting moments : Brazil vs. Morocco (Match 7, Group C) at MetLife Stadium at 6 PM.

Both World Cup teams have local ties — Brazil is lodging at The Ridge Hotel and Morocco is practicing at Pingry School — making Basking Ridge the only community in the country hosting two competing World Cup teams simultaneously.

The celebration includes a Soccer Village & Cultural Street Festival featuring country-themed tents, live music, international food vendors, youth soccer activities, and professional trick demonstrations, followed by a large-screen World Cup Watch Party in downtown Basking Ridge.
