68 DAYS TILL MEMORIAL DAY ☀️☀️☀️☀️☀️☀️☀️
Are you sticking with your 2026 New Years Resolutions
Are you attaining your fitness goals ? I know the winter has been harsh and some of my personal training clients have been doing too much comfort food eating lately, how are you doing ? Has the winter got you down ? It’s time to get POSITIVE POSITIVE POSITIVE about your health.
Visualize where you want to be in 1-2 months, set goals and then take action. Now is the time. Working out consistently is only one piece of the pie. Have you ever heard you can’t out train bad eating habits ?
Do you need a nutritionist or someone to hold you accountable ?
A few of my clients hold themselves accountable by weighing themselves each morning to give them some insight as to how they are doing with food.
How are you holding yourself accountable?
How is your sleep ?
Stress ?
Balancing work and family and fun ?
Nutrition?
Alcohol sugar consumption?
Just remember this. There are 3 types of people
People that hope it happen 👎
People that MAKE IT HAPPEN 👍
People that say what happened ?
Which one are you ?
Doing and eating the next right thing - one workout and one meal at a time and lining up proper support for ourselves is all in our power.
Stay POSITIVE and SET A GOAL OR TWO and don’t let winter dictate your mood and remember…..THIS TOO SHALL PASS…..SPRING IS COMING - SO SPRING INTO ACTION AND MAKE SOME POSITIVE CHANGES STARTING NOW!! YOU CAN DO IT.

One of my clients who is fairly new said he wanted to get 100,000 steps in a week as a weekly goal.
That is over 5 million steps per year. So the first thing I recommended before we even started training was to go see a podiatrist to make sure he has the right shoes for walking / and working out.
I have run many marathons all over the world and besides the training, footwear was a crucial component to succeed and also prevent injuries. I also have inserts in my golf shoes. I am also pain free. No plantar fasciitis or tight Achilles tendon.
Think about it. If you are taking 4-5 million steps per year that’s over 40 million steps over a 10 year period. So I have flat feet for example so my podiatrist recommended an arch support insert for all my shoes which is one of the reasons my feet and legs feel great. Not just from strength training.
I try to diagnose little things that people might miss before they set forth on fitness goals of any kind.
Are you checking all the other boxes for your optimum health. Nutrition? Food allergies ? Massage ?
Acupuncture? Meditation? Stretching after a workout ? Foam Rolling ? Hormonal imbalance ?
Low Testosterone?
Hope this helps.
