Everyone is starting to travel again. Please be sure to check the expiration date on your passport. Many countries require you have at least 6 months left until the expiration date after your return date. Yes, you can be denied boarding

It's been awhile since you've heard from me. Our office has been closed for over a year and we are hoping to open in the next few weeks. People are starting to inquire about trips and where they are allowed to go. So as a PSA....check your passports now. It's been awhile since we all traveled and your passport may have expired or is close to expiring. Just in the past week I know of 2 families who had to cancel or change their travel plans due to passport issues. Remember: for most destinations your passport has to be valid for 6 months past your travel dates.
You can always check to see what the passport validity requirements are for each destination at TRAVEL.STATE.GOV.

Just wondering everyone's feelings about traveling during these unsettling times. Please just a a 'yes' or 'no'....would you be willing to fly on an airplane tomorrow?

If you don’t have a REAL ID you can use your passport or a passport card. Also remember that when visiting most countries your passport must be valid for 6 months after your return date. So a passport really is only good for 9.5 year....not 10 years.

NJMVC | REAL ID is coming 10/1/20 Effective October 1, 2020, you must have a REAL ID compliant driver license/ID or U.S. passport or military ID to fly commercially or enter certain federal facilities. UNTIL THAT DATE, a Standard New Jersey driver license is valid for domestic air travel.
