I’m beginning work on a new book called Captain’s Debrief and I’m inviting a small group of founding supporters to help bring it to life.
This is the story of a 12-year-old boy leaving the rubble of post-WWII Germany to immigrate to America. On his very first airplane ride, the pilots invited him into the cockpit. In that moment, he knew exactly what he wanted to do with his life.
He would go on to spend nearly 40 years as an airline pilot.
The book follows not only the aviation journey, but the human one behind it — family sacrifices, airline mergers and strikes, close calls, unforgettable layovers, the pressures of carrying hundreds of lives through the sky, and the stories most pilots never publicly tell.
I believe this is more than a book about flying. It is about resilience, responsibility, immigration, ambition, and a disappearing era of aviation history.
To help support the writing, research, interviews, editing, and publishing process, I’m opening a limited Founding Supporter group for those who would like to help preserve and shape this story from the beginning.

Most people look away from what happens behind closed doors. I decided to pull the doors off the hinges.
I am honored to share that this journey has brought me to the finalist stage for Author of the Year 2026 (Biography/Memoir).
I am asking my colleagues, mentors, and friends to stand with me. This isn't just a vote for a book; it’s a vote for the stories that usually go untold. Every single vote moves the needle, and we only have until August 31st.
I can’t reach behind every closed door alone. Please vote and then forward this to your own network, friends, and colleagues. One share could make the difference.

I’m not a life coach - just a woman who’s lived through deep heartbreaks and beautiful blessings, and who’s learned to rise, even when it hurts. I share my journey so others know they’re not alone.
Get In The Boat, tells the story of my father caring for my mother through dementia: feeding a body that no longer knew his name, breaking his back to keep her alive, and grieving her long before she was gone.
While the world kept scrolling, he stayed. And, so do I.
