Protect our Library

We did it, we Protected Our Library! And by “we,” that's all of you who helped get out the vote, put signs on your lawn, passed out fliers at polling places, and voted for the Protect Our Library slate. Unofficial results show that Carrie Carr and Carolyn Welch Clifford will continue their hard work for the library as trustees. We are keeping the faith that a couple dozen vote lead will hold up after all mail-in and absentee ballots are counted, and Barbara Pintozzi will be re-elected as well. This is a win for the entire Barrington Public Library District. Thanks to all of you who worked hard to make this possible.

Re-elect Barrington Library Trustees Carrie Carr, Barbara Pintozzi and Carolyn Welsh Clifford. We LOVE the Barrington Area Library and take advantage of its many services. Carrie Carr works remotely and use the library's meeting rooms as alternative work space. She reads books online via OneDrive and just started taking advantage of the audio book program. Barbara Pintozzi use her library card at least twice a week to check out reading materials, consult Consumer Reports, watch movies on Kanopy and TV shows on Hoopla. Carolyn Welsh Clifford, as an avid reader and book club member, use her library card weekly and uses frequently reserves books online for easy pick up.
