Contemporary Vermont Farmhouse. Vertical 5/4 pine board and batten siding for a finish.

Full exterior remodel: strap and insulate over existing siding plane, add Hydrogap house wrap, instal painted Hardie board accent panels, then shiplap pine siding with a translucent Arborcoat finish.

This client had five skylights removed from this lovely little sun room because it got too hot in the summer. I added some framing and insulation, and now, taping the seams!

From a certain angle, life in the city can appear surprisingly wild and free. I grew up in a much larger urban area than Barre, and I’ve always appreciated the power of imagination as a creative tool to inspire and transform the environment. I work to build poetry into landscape, give new projects lasting charm and rejuvenate older buildings, and their accessories, with beauty, function and purpose without washing out inherent historic charms.
