The 2026 Minnesota Quilt Show is looking for volunteers and right now we’re a little short on helping hands. From admissions, set-up to special events, there’s a place for everyone to help the show come together.

Because when it comes to putting on a quilt show this big… 🎵 “I get by with a little help from my friends…” 🎵

Volunteering is a great way to meet fellow quilters, be part of the excitement and help create an unforgettable event for our community. Many hands truly do make light work.

After getting coffee at Rivers Coffee, I went to see Roberta at her new gallery space in downtown Portage. Make her R. Condon Gallery a stop soon! She also provides custom framing.

There are some amazing places in Portage.

Here is the thing:

I’m teaching 6 workshops, showing special exhibit and presenting a lecture at the Minnesota Quilters, Inc. in June, in St. Cloud!

One of the workshops is the Art of the Log Cabin!

You will have the option to make small blocks or giant ones!

The best part?

You can work with Jellyrolls, you can cut your strips by hand or you can utilize the AccuQuilt die cutting machines that I’m bringing to make your fabric cutting a breeze !!!
