Do not be anxious or worried about anything, but in everything [every circumstance and situation] by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, continue to make your [specific] requests known to God. Phillipians 4:6

Let the peace of Christ [the inner calm of one who walks daily with Him] be the controlling factor in your hearts [deciding and settling questions that arise]. To this peace indeed you were called as members in one body [of believers]. And be thankful [to God always]. Colossians 3:15 (Amplified Bible)

Join us on the corner of 4th and Broadway in Baraboo, this Sunday, June 21st, at the First United Methodist Church for in-person worship at 10:30 AM in the sanctuary or online through our page at barabooumc.org.

If you join online, you can make a prayer request by using the “comment” function on the Facebook Live screen. You can also email [email protected] with your prayer concerns and they’ll be passed onto the prayer chain.

We have a staffed nursery for our youngest disciples during worship. About halfway through service, the children come into the sanctuary for the Young Disciples time. Everyone has a lot of fun as they listen and participate in their own special message. Christian Education for kids and youth is at 9:15 AM. Adult Christian Education will be at 9:00 AM.

If you would like to make a financial gift to the church, know that your generosity supports us in being a blessing to our community. To give electronically, find the "donate" button on barabooumc.org - or you can mail in or drop off at church, or place one in the offering plate during worship. Your gifts combine with others to make a large impact in ministry and mission.

In every situation [no matter what the circumstances] be thankful and continually give thanks to God; for this is the will of God for you in Christ Jesus. 1 Thessalonians:18 (Amplified Bible)

Make a joyful noise unto Jehovah, all ye lands.
Serve Jehovah with gladness:
Come before his presence with singing.
Know ye that Jehovah, he is God:
It is he that hath made us, and we are his;
We are his people, and the sheep of his pasture.
Enter into his gates with thanksgiving,
And into his courts with praise:
Give thanks unto him, and bless his name.
For Jehovah is good; his lovingkindness endureth for ever,
And his faithfulness unto all generations. Psalm 100 (ASV)

Blessed is the one
who does not walk in step with the wicked
or stand in the way that sinners take
or sit in the company of mockers,
but whose delight is in the law of the Lord,
and who meditates on his law day and night.
That person is like a tree planted by streams of water,
which yields its fruit in season
and whose leaf does not wither—
whatever they do prospers. Psalm 1:1-4 (NIV)
