OH WHAT A GOOD DAY TO GO FISHING: June 11-14 to be exact! Maine Outcast Campout kicks off summer programming and registration is OPEN! If you haven’t already, head over to our website and sign yourself up for community fishing and all around goodness 🌈🎣

Outcast Campouts are q***r-centered group events (no more than 25 anglers) designed to build community and learn from each other. Any aspiring/curious and seasoned fly fishers who haven’t found the supportive community they need to grow are welcome: there’s a lot of q***rness and diversity in nature, and if you’ve felt marginalized by other outdoor events, this just might be for you. Choose your pace, come with whatever enthusiasm and/or skills you have, and leave the weekend knowing you belong on the water.

Don’t have gear? No problem, we’ve got rods set up for you. Never camped out? We can help you cozy up with supplying everything from pillow to tent pole. Things are ROUGH in the world and taking part of some grounded-and-disruptive joy helps keep us going. Please be sure to select from our sliding scale pricing and give us a shout if you have any questions. We’ve been causing good trouble on the riverbank for over five years now, and we can’t wait for you to join!

TONIGHT WE TIE!!! Join us and spend time at the vide with fishy folks from the northeast 🎣🎣🎣

WHAT: fly tying and community social for every body, hosted by Confluence Collective alum with supplies to share. This event is q***r centered in that it’s a disruption + departure from mainstream tying events, and instead centers community skills sharing, accessible resources, and curious inquiry as we do crafty things that maybe a fish will want to eat…YAY!! Every body belongs on the water, and we’re aiming to get you geared up to snag a tree or maybe even a fish the next time you’re out on the water!

WHEN: TONIGHT!!! Friday December 5th

WHERE: in Portsmouth, NH

We will also have some of our hot new merchhhh (stickers, hats, tshirts!) for purchase. Your $ goes right back into this kind of community programming and supports sliding scale + community supported rates for programming during the Outcast Campout season.

Questions? DMs are open or email [email protected]

Oh my goodness look who was spotted in the wild wearing our new t-shirt design printed by ?! Pam and Bev caught all vibes no fish on a striper fishing morning and looked good doing it 💅🏼
👯‍♀️
In honor of the q***r ballrooms that took place before us and will continue beyond us, this design by is in the honor of co-conspiring human rights advocacy work mixed with magic moments of q***r joy and beauty, and we’re loving our whole selves rocking this message of support: GOT YOU, GIRL
🎣
Grab yours today from the website and know we’ll be directing proceeds back into community: and are in line for this project, but you can hear about all the groups we direct sales $ to in our FAQ page. The future is trans, q***r, and working towards a world where Palestine is FREE and🧊 gets f*cked.

💅🏾
🌈
More gay s**t has been added to the website and we will be adding stickers for the Gay Agenda to any order placed on these shirts. Grab one before we have to reprint!

2025 Maine Outcast Campout was WONDERFUL. Welcome to our new disco trout, lovingly crafted on rainy weekends and centerpiece to belly laughs and sighs of relief. We needed this weekend, and the space we held for each other was beautiful. Thank you thank you thank you to the campers who make it so magical every year.
More photos and stories to come, more campouts to come, but enjoy a little sparkle moment 🌈

WHAT A GOOD GAY TO GO FISHING: it is pride month and generally, an unreasonably busy time for anyone q***r. Include us in that 🌈 burn out 🌈 AND we still have exciting and joyful celebrations to share with one another. Amidst Campout preparations and other events, here’s your new favorite fishing shirt!
🎣
Indulging their inner child, Bri Dostie designed this 90s nostalgia meets kitschy pop art shirt of a utopian river ecosystem, centering a very rainbow trout and friends such as the fanciest cases caddis to grace the freestone. Far from subtle, we reiterate that every body belongs on the water, and should have access to affirming, joyful community spaces above and below the surface of the current.

This post was hard to write! Capitalism and wh1te supr3macy have become so much of what folks know “Pride” to be. Confluence Collective is a “q***r, and” kind of group. These spaces aren’t the 🌈✨💕 Learn From One Another/Yay Diversity! 💕✨🌈 kind of places to learn a prescribed way of being a Good Ally. These are spaces to build community. Our humanity and liberation is tied to one another. So yes, sharing space as a diverse group of humans is to learn from one another, but also to take on injustices as our own, working together to improve the world around us in community. (Visit our FAQ page for more)

We share these products as affirming expressions of joy, which is a vulnerable thing to do. We expect our community to honor the beautiful, multidimensional, and diverse human experiences we are all on, knowing it’s all the more wonderful because we’re all here. We rely on and contribute to community support while we continue to work together to disrupt and dismantle. We hold thoughtful space and prioritize joy. We all need it, and have much to learn about ourselves, and one another, at the water.
🌈
Because this year is also not subtle in its inequity, fearful violence, and bigotry, we hope this emboldens you and empowers you to speak up for equitable human rights and an end to genoc1de.

Capitalism sucks! And we also want you to feel affirmed, confident, and empowered on and off the water. So, doing our best in a messssssy world, we are working with friends at on a new print design celebrating the q***r ballrooms running the floor so we could q***r river-walk today. A portion of proceeds for the “Got You Girl” shirts will go to and . Sizing ranges XS-4XL unisex and we’re using a sliding scale for pricing. If you CAN, bump up to the Take My Money cost so we can send more to our q***r community centers, but otherwise pick what you can manage!

🌈
Please also note: we’re on the cusp of the busy busy busy season. We’ll do our best on fulfillment between programming and events, and we appreciate patience since we’re all working hard, and the world itself is hard. Also, websites are what they are and you may notice a human error on the pre-order language. Squarespace is stubborn. Thanks for the grace!! If you have questions, let us know: [email protected] or DM us here

Sliding Scale Pricing is back: to ensure financial accessibility, there are options for Subsidized rates, Base rates, and a Take My Money rate, which helps us redistribute financial resources anonymously within community to ensure more folks have access to lower pricing tiers, and goes to the community beneficiary organization which for this program is Bomazeen Land Trust.

🏕️
There are designated slots set aside and all Outcast Campouts ensuring Subsidized and Base rates are available. We are also introducing a Payment Plan: by selecting this option from the product listing, we will work with you to define terms and timeline that make sense for you. Be sure to take a look at available registration rates and refer to the Green Bottle Sliding Scale model to inform your financial self-designation, or be in touch to talk over options: [email protected]
