Congrats to Schenck Senior Brayden Osborne on being selected to play in the Class C/D Senior All-Star Game!

9-6 win over Wisdom for Schenck Baseballs first playoff win since 2017!!!!

Brayden Osborne got the start on the mound going 4 innings and only giving up 2 earned runs but leaving the game tied at 6-6. Carson Stanley came in and closed the door pitching 4 scoreless to get the win.

A big 3 run top of the 8th started with a Marcus Hutchins walk, a single by Brayden Osborne and a bunt single by Trevor VanDine to load the bases. A walk by Wyatt Sprague drove in the go ahead run. Insurance runs were added on a dropped fly ball that would have been a sac fly by Carson Stanley scoring Osborne and a Balk bringing home VanDine.

Next game is Thursday at #1 seed Fort Fairfield. Details coming on times

6-3 win over Lee Academy this afternoon, this solidified a playoff birth as we finish the regular season 7 and 7. Waiting on final heal points to see where we end up going.

Carson Stanley gets the win on the mound pitching six innings of 1 hit ball while striking out 14. Caleb Peavey came on to pitch the 7th and get the save.

Offensively lead off batter Brayden Osborne started the game with a double and finished with 3 hits, 3 runs scored and an RBI. Marcus Hutchins and Wyatt Sprague both had 2 hits and an RBI. Tommy DeSantis added a single and Caleb Peavey and Sam McNeal each had a critical RBI.

Game against BC in Bangor this afternoon at 4.

17-1 win over Penquis on Senior Day!! Brayden Osborne gets the win on the mound pitching 3 innings Striking out. 5 and walking none. Carson Stanley and Caleb Peavey each got in an inning of work to finish off the game.

Penquis pitching had a hard time finding the plate as the Wolverines took advantage of 17 free bases. Seniors Brayden Osborne, Sam McNeal and Trevor VanDine scored 7 of the runs.

Next game is Friday against Bangor Christian down in Bangor at 4.

The Wolverines are currently sitting in the last playoff spot in the standings so hopefully we can keep the four game winning streak going.

Not only have these three been great to have on the field, but they have all been named To the PVC All Academic Team!

These teams are for Seniors who must maintain a Grade Point Average (GPA) of 90 or higher for 7 consecutive semesters.

Game time is 4 against Penquis. Senior Celebration starting about 3:45

Put the ball in play and good things can happen, Stryder Gilbert was that saying coming true this afternoon. Stryder hit a hard ground ball to third that the third baseman bobbled and then while hurrying over threw the first baseman. 2 runs came in giving Stryder the walk off RBI ‘s in our 11-1 six inning win over Shead.

Caleb Peavey pitched 6 No Hit innings striking out 9 in a dominant performance for the win. He also had a hit, an RBI and 2 runs scored.

Others collecting hits were Trevor VanDine, Carson Stanley, Cameron Mayhew, Bentley Gardner, and with a pair Wyatt Sprague.

The pitching combo of starter Carson Stanley (win) and Caleb Peavey (save) got us through a tough fought 7-6 win against Lee this afternoon.
Carson struck out 11 in 4 2/3rds innings pitched.

At the plate the team was led by Brayden Osborne who was on base all 5 times he made it to the plate with 3 hits, and a walk plus reaching on an error. He scored 2 runs. Caleb Peavey, Sam McNeal, Jason Federico and Wyatt Sprague all had RBI hits. Marcus Hutchins had a hit and two walks.

Stearns in Millinocket tomorrow at 4:30 for our next game.

Lost 3-0 in a close game. Great pitching from Brayden Osborne going 5 innings with no walks and 5 strikeouts. A strong 2 innings in relief by Caleb Peavey 1 walk 2 strikeouts and no runs allowed.

Offensively Caleb had 2 hits. Singles were also added by Brayden, Carson Stanley, Wyatt Sprague, Cameron Mayhew and Marcus Hutchins.

Next game is again under the lights at Mansfield against Lee this Wednesday at 7:30
