We provide books, audio books, magazines and DVDs. The Bangor Public Library was founded in 1921 by the Bangor Women’s Club. and our annual Fundraising Campaign.

We provide several services such as faxing, copies, free internet use, free wifi, access to online resources such as eBook, encyclopedias, newspapers, magazines and educational resources for the kids. After many years of fundraising the library was finally opened to serve Bangor and the surrounding economic community. The library was a cultural focus of the community. 🚨BOIL WATER ADVISORY IN EFFECT🚨
Tuesday, June 23rd, 9am until further notice

For those who did not receive the call or text from EBMA or just need a reminder…

Attention on Tuesday June 23rd the East Bangor Municipal Authority will be performing upgrades to the Water System. This will require turning water off to the town. Not everyone will experience an outage, but some may experience lower pressure and possible cloudy water. However, beginning approximately at 9AM a Boil Water will be in effect until further notice. We will send another message when the Boil Water is removed.
