Babies are on the way!!!!

This is Kety and Mary, the newest additions to Castlegate. In German, these girls are called "Kaninchen" (pronounced "Kay-nee-shin), which means "Rabbit." It's a term that suggests their size. These girls are fully grown and weigh around 6 pounds. I have included a photo of Kety sleeping beside Lucy, a standard wire-haired dachshund, to show the difference in size. A male will join us from Europe in January of 2027. Look for puppies at the end of '27 or the first of '28

One male and one female are ready to go on January 23rd! These puppies are "tweenies." The male will weigh around 20 pounds and the female around 18 when fully grown. The photo here is just for reference of what they will look like. They're too young to get photos of now.
