Bandera Electric Cooperative out here being the real MVPs today!! 🙌🙌 The farm has power!

The new house made it! Thanks to Katherine King with Palm Harbor Homes 🎉 And we have power thanks to quick work by Bandera Electric Cooperative 🙌

Progress is being made!! March 1st we start on fencing and barns, then the greenhouse and landscaping. There's still a LOT of work to be done, but we are so thankful for what we have already and the opportunity to grow and contribute to our community 💖

This photo represents a lot more than just a culvert being installed on a piece of land.

You see, that's my dad, my oldest son, my nephew, and my son's friend that wanted to help out. This is family. Everything that we are trying to accomplish is for our family and the community. We are trying to create an environment where we can instill values and skills in our kids and other local youth that they might not get otherwise. We want to spread knowledge, experience, and kindness as far as we can!

This is what Equity Homestead is all about. Coming together for the greater good 💛

We are so excited to announce the opening of Equity Homestead! Construction of the facilities that will be open to the public is scheduled to begin March 2025 with an anticipated completion date of May 2025.

We look forward to serving our community with sustainable farming practices, organic produce, scratch-made baked goods, canned foods, homesteading demonstrations, holistic health activities, and a petting zoo!
