Congratulations to Dr. Randi Mellon for earning her achievement award this week with the American Orthodontic Society (AOS). To earn this award, you must be a member of the AOS for 3 years and complete over 350 hours of orthodontic training!

The American Orthodontic Society has provided quality orthodontic education for general dentists like Dr. Mellon for 50 years. Dr. Mellon loves continuing education classes and bringing new knowledge to Bandera!

Today we are celebrating Dr. Mellon's grandfather's 103rd birthday!

Bill Mellon is a World War 2, Korean, and Vietnam Veteran. He served with both the United States Air Force and Navy. While serving our country he earned the Distingued Flying Cross, which is awarded for heroism or extraordinary achievement while participating in an aerial flight. He also won a gold metal at the 1963 Pan American Games for the 25m rapid-fire pistol shooting.

I think it's fair to say they don't make them like they used to! Dr. Mellon is so excited to celebrate her grandfather's 103rd birthday and all of the achievements he has accomplished in that time!
