We would like to welcome our newest Gold Member BBandera Chiropractic

Dr. John Van Dam recently became the owner of Bandera Chiropractic, continuing the legacy of care established by Dr. Allan and Kathy Gratia after more than 40 years serving the community.

Originally from Florida, Dr. Van Dam and his family recently relocated to the Texas Hill Country and are proud to now call Bandera home. His wife is originally from San Antonio, and together they have three children. In addition to serving the community through chiropractic care, Dr. Van Dam also continues to serve in the United States Air Force Reserve after previously serving on active duty as a medic.

At Bandera Chiropractic, we focus on helping patients improve mobility, reduce pain, and return to the activities they enjoy most. We provide individualized chiropractic care for patients of all ages and commonly help individuals dealing with back pain, neck pain, headaches, sciatica, and other musculoskeletal conditions. Our goal is to provide thoughtful, patient-centered care while helping people stay active and healthy in their daily lives.

We strive to create a welcoming, family-oriented environment where patients feel heard, respected, and cared for. We are honored to continue serving both new and existing patients and look forward to becoming an active part of the Bandera community.

Dr. Brown from Bandera Vet Clinic and I were teamed up running ice and drinks and helping get the kids ready for mutton busting. Our team was nicknamed “A Bark and a Crack” 😄

Meet the New Doc 👋

Hi everyone, I’m Dr. John Van Dam, and I’m honored to continue serving the local community at Bandera Chiropractic.

Originally from St Petersburg, Florida, my wife and I recently made the move to the Texas Hill Country with our three children, and we’re excited to now call this home. My wife was born and raised in San Antonio, so returning to Texas feels especially meaningful for our family. In addition to chiropractic practice, I continue to serve in the United States Air Force Reserve after previously serving on active duty as a medic.

I’m passionate about helping people move better, feel better, and stay active in the activities they love. Most importantly, I look forward to building lasting relationships and becoming part of this amazing community.
