One extra step can make all the difference. Machining an o-ring groove in to a cylinder head and/or block and installing o-ring wire helps to make sure a cylinder head gasket repair lasts for the long haul. The extra clamping force created by the wire ensures thst no compression can escape the combustion chamber.

Magnetic particle inspection (Magnaflux) revealed that this 6.7l Cummins cylinder head has seen its last mile and is headed to the scrap bin
