The senseless act of violence and aggression exerted towards those unfortunate students at
Morgan, has been occurring in HBCU communities throughout the country for years,
Even before Spike Lee documented it in his movie "Skool Daze".

There has always been conflict between surround communities of HBCU campuses and the locals, who see strangers come into their communities, acquire an education that allows them to elevate themselves up the ladder of Success, while their counterparts are stuck in the mud of poverty, despair and conflict.

There's a lack of LOVE, UNDERSTANDING and RESPECT for Oneself, for One's Community and for One's Culture, in a few of those members in the surrounding communities, that spread like a bad apple in a barrel and a cancer in a healthy body, that can destroy all of the good and perfect things that an HBCU EDUCATION can generate.

That same EDUCATION and Love for Oneself, Community and Culture has to be extended, initiated and integrated, into our Public School
Systems Curriculum, such that one can foster,
nurture and cultivate and even greater harvest of successful persons and love for SELF & COMMUNITY BEYOND the perimeter and walls of our HBCU Campuses.

The Powers to be at the State Board of Education, won't allow a Culturally Conscious
Curriculumn to be included in the Public Education System. They Don't want our COLLECTIVE COMMUNITY TO BE WOKE!!
