As a founding member of the Congressional Black Caucus, Congressman Rangel was a tireless advocate for Black communities and an unwavering champion for Black businesses. Throughout his 46 years in Congress, he led with principle, purpose, and profound love for the people he served—from the streets of Harlem to the halls of Capitol Hill.
