DMV weather is doing the absolute most right now. Hot, humid, rainy, and somehow still disrespectful. 😂

So when I need my makeup to last through a summer event, I am not looking for more makeup. I am looking for products and techniques that actually perform.

A few things that make the biggest difference for me:

• Gripping primer
• Setting spray between makeup layers
• Primed and lightly set eyelids
• Waterproof or water-resistant eye and brow products
• Long-wear complexion products
• Matte setting spray to finish

And when it is time to touch up:

Oil-absorbing sheet first. Powder only if you still need it.

My rule for my professional kit is simple:

If it does not perform, it does not stay.

Save this before your next summer event and send it to the friend whose makeup disappears by appetizers. 😂
