Thatās a wrap on the 2026 League of American Orchestras Conference! š„³
We were so honored to host the Conference here in Baltimore, and extend a special thank you to our Host Committee members who worked tirelessly to make the event a success.
We also wanted to shoutout our staff members who presented at the Conference!
Members of our executive team, Mark C. Hanson, Jennifer Barton, Allison Burr-Livingstone, and Agnieszka Rakhmatullaev, led a PACKED session on sustainability for orchestras and building organizational relevance. (Photos 2 and 4)

Weāre proud to announce the two winners of our 2026 āO, Say Can You Sing?ā competition: Aleisha Murdock from Pikesville, MD and Aline Todd from McLean, VA!
These two talented vocalists will sing the National Anthem LIVE with the BSO this summer at Oregon Ridge. š
Aleisha attended the Carver Center for Arts and Technology and Morgan State University, where she was a member of the Morgan State University Choir and Singers. Aline sings in her church and school choir, and studies piano, history, Latin, science, and math.
Please join us in congratulating Aleisha and Aline! We look forward to performing alongside them July 3 and 4. š

Our OrchKids Symphonic Winds students brought the house down at yesterdayās Opening Session for the League of American Orchestras Conference! š„
The students performed "Fire," an original composition by the OrchKids Brass Band. We were lucky to also experience outstanding performances from the OrchKids Honor Strings and the Baltimore Symphony Youth Orchestras. Talk about starting Conference off on the right note! šµ
